Never Give Up

Alright, time for the update on my diet and exercise plan. It has been really hard to do and very tiring and I have had to put it before going out all night sometimes, but it has been so worth it. I lost about 9 pounds already and all my clothes are looser. I have had to eat lots of egg whites and veggies and whole grains and lean meats and combine cardio with strength training most days of the week. Sometimes I get extremely irritable or feel tired but other days I have so much energy. I thought nothing could work to make me lose weight, but I have gotten so many people asking if I have lost weight now, that it shows me anything is possible.

The saying Never Give Up is really true. The boy I babysit and I have been doing this thing everyday where we pick a number like 50 and try to volley nonstop with a ping pong ball, without messing up to see if we can do it that number of times. It can be frustrating and we can want to quit when we can’t reach the number, but when we stick it through, we do. Yesterday our number was 100 and guess what…we got to 120. That is what I am talking about…focus, concentration, and setting your mind on what you want, can lead you anywhere!
