Too busy

Sometimes I find myself too busy. It is weird because if I am not busy, or do not need to be busy, I still make myself busy. I don't know why, but I do. It can be overwhelming at times though. Today, the boy I babysit couldn't find anything to do and felt bored. Hearing this brought me back to the countless baseball games that I went to as a child to see my brothers play. I would often get really bored, but always managed to find some adventure to embark upon at the games.
I guess I have kept that persistence inside of me. Lately the thing I find the hardest is balance. I work two jobs, teach acting, do independent films, work out, see my boy friend, visit my family, visit with other friends, take voice lessons, write songs, and audition. In all that busyness, I have been forgetting about my blog. I think of things that I want to touch upon but feel so tired that I cannot put them all down at the end of the day.


This weekend was so great! I went home and got to be with my family for fourth of July. It was so nice to just relax and not think about anything and watch fireworks and swim in the ocean. I think it is so important to have little breaks like that in life or else you will be too overwhelmed.


I am back in New Jersey now and back to the grind, but hopefully will make sure in all of my busyness that I stop and smell the roses once in a while.
